Another of the many oddities of Portland are the off ramps to oblivion - partially constructed parts of the Fremont Bridge that were abandoned in the 1970s. They just hang off the raised approaches to the bridge sort of like the builders yelled 'squirrel' mid build. Borrowing a little Wile E Coyote wisdom, we might finally find a good use for them.
