We have lived with lots of restrictions without losing our core rights. Once you have a license you are pretty much free to drive what you like and can afford except for Formula 1 cars, GTP racers, etc. on the roads. I'm sure there are those who feel overly restricted by those rules but such people are generally dangerous assholes which isn't a group we should work to satisfy.
