We don't need Satan to perpetrate evil in the world. The christian god has that covered apparently according to his followers. Don't bother with the free will argument. A loving god (or loving anything) would not sacrifice children to make a point. But, I suppose it's consistent with a being that had a bear maul some kids for making fun of a bald guy.
exactly this. Christians have a problem 1. their god wants this to happen and is malevolent. 2. their god is impotent and can't stop it and thus not omnipotent 3. their god is imaginary.
