I suppose it makes some sense that a movement based on a complete lack of historical context should trash a library. Nothing telegraph's I'm stupid, self-absorbed, and/or hateful than vandalizing books. After all, can't have anyone reading history that conflicts with your pet ideology, now can we.

ReplyDeletenothing shows the cowardice of these failures like burning books. It's nothing new that conservatives need ignorance and fear to exist.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, as the damage done to the PSU library shows, it's not just the right that is doing it. The ultra left is doing it as well.
