Also - I'm no physicist, but please, someone who is, tell me how a portion of a spacecraft rotates without invoking Newton's Third Law? This is a common and annoying trope in sci fi movies. Just have the whole ship rotate for F's sake! And deal with the coriolis effect along the axis.
