NO RELIGIOUS LITMUS TESTS! If the Founders had intended that people dropped to their knees in prayer when taking the oath, they would have said so. I don't want leaders who appeal to gods - I want leaders who appeal to reason.
unsurprisngly, these conservative christians are wannabee theocrats and liars at the same time, curious how that works out for people who claim to worship a god that hates lies and liars.
I suppose modern Christianity is an exercise in cognitive dissonance, but this whole 'liars for Jesus' thing would seem to be something that should give them pause - or not.
